The Galilee orphanage is also in Hmawbi Township, about 60 kilometers north of Yangon. It supports itself with its own modest crop-growing area, but augmented by food-producing animals, including a large chicken coop and pigs. Having been in existence for more than several years, several of their children have grown up and continued on to college.
