Before we had the water system, we thought purified water was only for foreigners to drink. Now all the children and staff are drinking purified water. On behalf of the children, staff and myself, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the organization and individuals for their efforts to have this system built."
Sited on the perhaps largest parcel of owned rural land northwest of Yangon, this large orphanage was founded and is led by a college professor and his wife with (by Myanmar standards) a large crop-growing field and pig farm, their delivered-water needs were substantial. A substantial number of their kids, also, are and have been college-bound.
